Eligibility Criteria & Key Responsibilities:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized institution (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional Experience:
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in centralized operations related to inward remittance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Manage the process with efficient scrutiny and supervision of transactions as per SOPs, ensuring quality services without compromising on risk and controls.
- Prepare and implement SOPs for areas under responsibility while identifying system and process vulnerabilities.
- Compliance & Regulations:
- Familiarize the team with SOPs, SBP Guidelines, and Prudential Regulations.
- Handle all complaints and queries related to inward foreign remittances promptly with zero tolerance for errors.
- Financial Oversight:
- Ensure the receipt of cover funds in Nostro accounts before processing payments and charges.
- Supervise computations for withholding tax and prepare WHT data and challans for the Finance Division.
- Transaction Management:
- Supervise and authorize transactions, amendments, and cancellations as per SOPs.
- Reconcile MT103 against OAS reports daily to ensure no payment message is misplaced or unattended.
- Team Development:
- Prepare leave rosters and ensure staff avails mandatory leave as per bank policy.
- Identify training needs for staff and recommend appropriate programs to line managers.
- Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare and monitor required data/reports for SBP and coordinate with external inquiries, including Compliance, FIA, and NAB.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of ITRS returns and reports.
- Reconciliation:
- Review and reconcile Nostro outstanding entries with Treasury Operations to avoid unsettled payments.
